Our Golf course is open to the public.

The Great Outdoors Golf Course is 6,542 yards from the championship tees, has paved golf cart paths, picturesque bridges, white-sand bunkers, numerous challenging water hazards, and is open to the public year-round.  Upwards of 30,000 rounds of golf are played on this course each year by residents of The Great Outdoors, plus local and long-distance visitors.

 Memory Garden

The Memory Garden at The Great Outdoors Community Church is open to all TGO residents from sunrise to sunset every day for reflection, meditation and prayer.

Propane is available Monday - Friday by appointment only, on the hour, at:

  • 10:30 AM
  • 11:30 AM

The method of payment is cash or check.

 Vehicle Barcode Installations

If you wish to have a barcode applied to your vehicle for access, please call the CSA Office for an appointment.

A form with all information needed can be found under "CSA Documents" at the top of this page in the "Forms" section. 

Please complete the form and return it to the CSA Office.

 Doggie World

Doggie world is reserved year-round for dogs in certain weight groups as follows:

 a. Small Dogs (12 pounds or less) - 11:00 am to 12:00 pm daily

 b. Medium Dogs (35 pounds or less) - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm daily

 c. Large Dogs (more than 35 pounds) - 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm daily

 Jukebox Recreation

A recreation area where you can play ping pong table, darts, shuffle board table, or card games such as poker.

 Nature Trails & Historic Center

The Lorraine Murphy Center is located in the CSA Conference Room. Please contact 321-268-9767 for hours of operations.

There are four nature trails which are listed below: 

 a. Claire & Ernie Carlson Trail

 b. Juba Interpretive Trail

 c. Addison Trail

 d. Mattila Trail

 Manor & Pavillion

The manor and pavillion have events, exercise classes and meetings. Please call the recreation department at 321-264-2393 during weekday office hours to reserve these locations.

The Association has the following areas to remain active: 

a. Fitness center - Access with special key after 5pm. Please contact 321-268-9767 for key rentals.

b. Bathhouses - 6 bathhouses

c . Laundry - 6 laundry facilities

d. Tennis Courts - 4 

e. Pickle Ball Courts - 2 

f. Shuffle board courts

g. Bocce Ball Courts 

h. Swimming Pools - 2 - located at the manor and oak cove

 Mail Center & Hobbyland & Library

The mail center allows you to send packages. The building is open 24/7 to access post office boxes. The service desk is open 10 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays 10 am to 12 pm. 

The hobby land room may be reserved for events such as crafts. 

The library room has books, and jigsaw puzzles.
